You might like to read Pamphlet 01: ‘Quakerism as Forerunner’, John Linton, 1979 because it contains ideas about Quaker Universalism as the future of religion which is the theme of our Conference in 2024. We might today think that John Linton was wrong about the future of religion (or Quaker Universalism) but we might also be surprised about the insights he offered nearly 50 years ago which still inform our view of Quakerism today.
